The Unyielding Tree

As the fiery storm brews,

Untamed,

the winds and the thunder keeps a pace,

Rattling the ocean, and the ground underneath.

The storm wrecks havoc,

Uprooting trees,

Laying waste to all in its path..

Yet, stands a tree,

unmoved,

looks on,

with complete vulnerability,

Calm,

with a smile on its branches,

With an inner force,

With breath and gaze converging,

It stares down the storm,

bringing the storm into stillness,

From duality into oneness,

Into pure consciousness.
